Dr. Chunyan Teng is a highly respected Doctor of Oriental Medicine with over 30 years of clinical experience specializing in integrative cancer care, pain management, and women’s health. Her expertise lies in addressing complex, chronic, and post-surgical conditions using evidence-informed Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) alongside complementary wellness strategies.

Dr. Teng received her formal medical education from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the most esteemed TCM universities in China, where she completed rigorous training with a clinical focus on neurological disorders. She holds dual licensure in New York and New Jersey and is nationally board-certified by the NCCAOM.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Teng is also a seasoned educator and researcher. She has taught acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine at institutions such as Pacific College of Health and Science, and served as a clinician and researcher at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, one of the leading cancer hospitals in the world. Her work has also included pain management and rehabilitation at the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Dr. Teng is widely regarded for her deep clinical insight, gentle approach, and commitment to patient-centered healing. She continues to lecture, publish, and mentor new practitioners, helping to advance the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine into modern health care.
